Symposium Registration Fees

Member and Non-Member regular full meeting registration fees include the symposium proceedings, access to scientific sessions, exhibit hall, daily continental breakfast, morning and afternoon coffee breaks during the scientific sessions, and admission for one to the President's Gala Reception. Please note that STP has added a Tuesday afternoon session this year, which is open to registered attendees.

Registration Instructions

NTP Symposium

The Saturday NTP Satellite Symposium is free, but registration is required. On the registration form, please indicate whether you prefer voting (handheld voting machine) or non-voting participation. Voting participation is available for 100 attendees. If this option is full, please select non-voting. There is not a limit to the number of non-voting attendees.

Continuing Education Courses

A separate registration fee is charged to attend each of the the Sunday Continuing Education course(s). Two concurrent courses will be offered in the morning and two in the afternoon.

Spouse/Guest Registration

The Spouse/Guest registration fee includes continental breakfast (Monday through Thursday) in the STP Guest Hospitality Suite at the Marriott Wardman Park Hotel, afternoon breaks, one admission to the President’s Gala Reception Wednesday evening. There will also be a Monday half day tour guaranteed for spouse/guests who register for the meeting by March 1, 2009.

Student Registration

The Student Registration fee includes access to all sessions and exhibits, daily continental breakfast, admission for one to the Student Outing and the President's Gala Reception. A letter of verification from a department chairman must accompany student registrations. Any student registration received with no verification letter will be processed at the higher non-member fee. Copies of student identification cards are not acceptable.

U.S. Government Employee Tuesday-Only Sessions Registration

Interested U.S. Government employees may register to attend Tuesday morning and afternoon sessions listed below at no charge. Registration (indicating one or both sessions) is required by June 1.

  • Tuesday AM Scientific Session: Genetically Engineered Mice
  • Tuesday PM Scientific Session: Background Disease in Animal Models of Toxicity: Relevance and Interpretation in Risk Assessment

Student Travel Awards

Ten Travel Awards will be awarded to Graduate Students for participation in the 28th Annual Symposium of the Society of Toxicologic Pathology. Recipients will be awarded a grant to defray registration, travel, and lodging costs associated with attending the convention, and complimentary student membership (for 2010). Recipients will be honored at the Awards Ceremony prior to the Annual Business Meeting on Wednesday. All recipients will be required to present a poster at the Symposium and several of the trainees will be asked to give an additional short oral presentation.

Eligibility

Nominees must currently be enrolled in a full-time graduate or residency program in veterinary medicine, medical science, medicine, or pathology/toxicology and must have a demonstrated interested in toxicologic pathology. Nomination of candidates who have recently completed (within 12 months) a graduate and/or residency program in toxicologic pathology will also be accepted.

Forms will be date-stamped as they arrive. This is your date of registration.

NOTE: To prevent double-billing, if you are registering by fax, DO NOT mail your original registration form. STP needs only one copy for processing. All mailed and faxed registration forms will be processed on-line by STP staff.

Cancellation Policy

If you must cancel your registration, all requests must be received in writing to STP Headquarters no later than May 10, 2009. The registration fee will be refunded less a $25 processing fee.
