About Puerto Rico

Puerto Rico is an island approximately 1000 miles southeast of Miami, Florida between the Caribbean Sea and Atlantic Ocean. It is just 100 miles long and 35 miles across and is part of the Greater Antilles with the larger islands of Cuba, Jamaica, and Hispaniola. Puerto Rico has a population of 4,000,000 and is a U. S. territory with commonwealth status. Official languages are Spanish and English.

STP Tours

STP is offering two optional tours on Tuesday afternoon to (1) El Yunque Rainforest and (2) Old San Juan and the Bacardi Rum Factory, and will repeat them both on Thursday afternoon. You can register for the tours when you register for the meeting.
