The DoubleTree Hotel Portland in Portland, OR will be the Headquarters Hotel of the STP 2013 Annual Meeting June 16–20, 2013. The newly renovated DoubleTree Hotel Portland is located in the center of the Portland Metro area and is the largest hotel within walking distance to the Oregon Convention Center, Rose Garden Arena, and Portland Memorial Coliseum. Also within walking distance, guests can enjoy world-class entertainment, tax-free shopping at specialty boutique shops as well as national brand stores and of course, Portland’s renowned culinary scene with endless dining options. Portland’s popular attraction OMSI—the Oregon Museum of Science and Industry is just a few blocks away.

Government rated rooms are limited and a Government ID is required upon check-in. If you reserve by phone be sure to mention that you are with the STP 2013 Annual Meeting. The Group Code for the Government Block is TOG.

Note: You are encouraged to make hotel reservations as soon as possible to ensure availability in the headquarters hotel (even though DoubleTree Hotel Portland’s deadline is May 22, 2013).

Rates: Hotel’s room rates are subject to applicable state and local taxes (currently 14.5%) in effect at the time of check-in.

Internet Access: The DoubleTree Hotel Portland will provide complimentary wireless guestroom internet for STP Conference attendees who book within the STP room block. The default speed in the guest rooms in 2MB Down/1MB Up or 2048 kbs Down/1024 kbs Up. Additional speeds are available at an additional cost.

Cancellation Policy: The Cancellation Policy is 72 hours prior to arrival. If you fail to arrive on your confirmed date, and you do not cancel the reservation, your ENTIRE reservation will be cancelled, and the credit card on file will be charged one night’s room and tax.
