The host hotel for the STP 45th Annual Symposium is Paradise Point—an island resort in Mission Bay close to beaches and SeaWorld, and 15 minutes from the Gaslamp Quarter.
You are encouraged to book the official STP host hotel, where we have reserved a block of rooms at negotiated rates for the convenience of all our attendees. Reserving your guest room at the official STP host hotel helps STP secure appropriate meeting space for the Annual Symposium while also keeping registration rates low.

Guest Room Rate
Single or Double: $339 ($329 + $10 resort fee)
Government Rate
$230 Single Occupancy.
There is also a discounted resort fee of $10/day on top of the per diem rate for government rooms.
Hotel room rates are subject to applicable state and local taxes (currently 15.05% sales tax) in effect at the time of check-in. Please contact STP Headquarters if you encounter any issues booking all of your requested hotel nights.

Deposit and Cancellation Policies
A credit card guarantee is required to hold each individual reservation. A deposit equal to one night’s stay, plus tax, is only required if a credit card is not available and will be applied to the first night of the reserved stay. Should you need to cancel your reservation, 72-hour advance notice is required to avoid a charge of one night’s stay and tax.
Parking
Self-parking is available at Paradise Point. Overnight guests in the STP block will pay $10 per day to park a car.
A free self-parking lot is available for attendees coming just for the day.
BUYER BEWARE of Possible Hotel Reservation Fraud
Please be aware of unauthorized companies or persons attempting to contact you to offer hotel reservations at the event location. These ‘unofficial’ housing companies will aggressively pursue attendees to book hotel rooms through their company at supposedly significant discounts.STP does not work with an official housing company. Please be sure to make your reservation directly with the hotel. Reservations made through anyone other than the hotel or their reservation center will be at your own risk. Please note that the Paradise Point does not solicit reservations or credit card information by phone. If another housing company trying to sell hotel rooms contacts you, please notify STP Headquarters .
