San Diego’s public transit system consists of trains, trolleys and buses so it’s quite easy to get around. Not only does this application consist of information regarding location, departure and arrival times, you can watch your bus and train travel in real time, includes a mapping function so you are able to navigate the town without looking too much like a tourist.

Airports

Shuttle Service at San Diego Airport

Shuttle vans and buses operated by off-airport companies are a popular and convenient transportation option. Shuttle service is available at the Transportation Plazas across from Terminals 1 and 2, and curbside at the Commuter Terminal. This service will cost approximately $8 for those staying at the Manchester Grand Hyatt San Diego.

From Terminal 1 you must cross the skybridge and take either the escalators or the elevators to street level. From Terminal 2, use the pedestrian crosswalk conveniently located outside the Terminal 2 Baggage Claim Area to access the Transportation Plaza. A Transportation Coordinator will place you with the first available shuttle, unless you specify a particular shuttle company. Policies, services and rates are subject to change and may vary based on destination, passengers and number of stops.

Super Shuttle

Directions upon Arrival

Car rental reservation boards are located near the baggage claim areas of Terminals 1 and 2. Car rental shuttles regularly operate at the Terminal 1 center traffic aisle and at the traffic island at the far west end of Terminal 2. Use the courtesy phones provided to request shuttle transport to the car rental company of your choice, if needed.

Manchester Grand Hyatt San Diego fees are:

• On-site parking, fee: $32 USD daily
• Valet parking, fee: $47 USD daily

Driving Directions: From San Diego International Airport (Lindbergh Field): approximately 3 miles.

When exiting the terminals, follow the signs to Downtown San Diego and Interstate 5. Stay in the right lane and this will deposit you onto North Harbor Drive. Continue south on North Harbor Drive approximately 3 miles along the waterfront. Go one block past the Seaport Village entrance (Kettner Boulevard). Turn right at Market Place into the Hotel's main entrance of our San Diego CA resort hotel.

Other Ground Transportation

Uber

Manchester Grand Hyatt San Diego has recently partnered with Uber car services to make your traveling throughout San Diego easier. Once you have downloaded the Uber App onto your Smart Phone you have access to view all of the cars in the area, an estimated time of arrival and quoted price for your destination. Please note: It is illegal for Uber drivers to pick up guests from the San Diego International Airport; however, they may drop you and your colleagues off at Departures.

San Diego Taxi

Taxi services are located on the lower level curb of all terminals. The approximate cost to the Manchester Grand Hyatt is $10-$13.

San Diego Trolley

Available conveniently across the street from the Manchester Grand Hyatt, the trolley is a great tool to sightsee and get around town.
