Air, Car, and Ground Transportation

Airports

Raleigh-Durham International Airport.—RDU (15 miles from the Raleigh Convention Center, Raleigh Marriott City Center and Sheraton Raleigh Hotel)

Taxi Service

Estimated taxi fare: $50 USD (one way)

Taxi dispatchers are located outside the terminals at RDU. The Terminal 1 Taxi Dispatch Booth is located outside Bag Claim 3. At Terminal 2, the booth is located on the lower level outside Bag Claim 1.

You may also schedule a taxi reservation to RDU Airport by contacting RDU Taxi, Inc. at (919) 840-7277. Handicap-accessible vehicles are available upon request. Reservations are not needed when departing from RDU, simply proceed to the Taxi Dispatch Booth, located outside of each terminal.

Bus—Shared ride

Shared ride services pick up from the brown limo zones outside bag claim in each terminal.

Car Rental

Each of the rental car companies at RDU offers courtesy shuttles to their offices, which are located on airport property.

Catch the shuttle bus for your rental car company at the green Rental Car shuttle stops outside bag claim at Zone 5 in Terminal 1 and Zone 18 in Terminal 2.

Need to make a reservation upon arrival? Use the Reservation and Accommodations Board in Bag Claim in Terminal 1 and Terminal 2.

Parking

Self-parking: $12 USD daily (Marriott) and $15 USD daily (Sheraton)
Valet parking: $30 USD daily
