The Society of Toxicologic Pathology (STP) plays a pivotal leadership role in the practice of toxicologic pathology globally. As a nonprofit organization, the STP greatly depends on corporate support and donations to sustain its activities. We trust that you highly value and support these abundant and beneficial activities, and we ask you to encourage your institution to become a 2023 supporter of STP.
The STP serves its membership by monitoring and responding to global draft regulatory guidance documents, formulating “best practices” in toxicologic pathology, and producing continuing education programs for members and regulators. These activities are designed to foster better communication among the scientific community, biopharmaceutical and agrochemical industries, and international regulators on the interpretation of toxicology and pathology data as it relates to human health and risk assessment. Additionally, the STP is actively engaged in the dissemination of new information to those already practicing toxicologic pathology as well as in the training and support of future toxicologic anatomic and clinical pathologists via grants, externships, training stipends, etc. Your financial support translates into direct benefits to all stakeholders in the toxicologic pathology arena.
Your institution’s financial support will be recognized on our website throughout the year, in our quarterly newsletter, and in the program materials for the STP 42nd Annual Symposium on “Toxicologic Pathology of the Hepatobiliary System,” to be held June 25–28, 2023, in Summerlin, Nevada. Please contact STP Headquarters with any questions regarding corporate support, donations, or suggestions regarding possible activities.
